I first became interested in photography through taking landscape pictures. After many years of watching the land, sea and sky change colour, it remains one of my favourite pass times

Many of my images are taken at sunrise and sunset, simply because these are the best times of day when the light and colours are at their most dramatic. Dawn is a particularly special time of day. The light has a unique quality, offering the chance to see the world in a light that few people see.

Although the majority of my commercial work is now shot digitally, my landscape photographs are produced using traditional methods mostly using a 6 x 4.5 camera and Fuji Velvia Transparency film which gives rich and vibrant colours.
